6 Summits Martini Skyrace

At the 6 Summits Martini Skyrace, trail runners who prefer the shorter distances at the Saalbach Trail & Skyrace but don't want to do without summit victories get their money's worth.

Here you can find all the information about the Saalbach Trail & Skyrace

The 6 Summits Skyrace is essentially the shorter counterpart to the 13 Summits Sky Marathon. On August 16, 2026, the starting signal will sound at the Schattberg X-Press valley station, and the trail runners will charge up the Schattberg, conquering 1,000 vertical meters over just 3.3 kilometers.

Once at the top, the trail continues over the Stemmerkogel, then onward across the Saalbachkogel, Hochkogel, and Hochsaalbachkogel. The Hochkogel rises to an elevation of 2,249 meters above sea level. After a short downhill section to the Hacklbergeralm, runners face another — but faster — uphill climb back to the Schattberg via the West Summit.
