Volunteer Areas at the Ski World Cup

Gastronomy & Hospitality

You help serve food and drinks and work with the team to make sure everyone is well looked after.

Race & Course

You support the team with the preparation and organisation of the races on the Zwölferkogel. For tasks on the course, you need to be a very good skier.

Organisation & Digital

You support the media team and assist journalists and media representatives as well as with organisational tasks in the press area.
You help issue accreditations and support the race office with organisational tasks.
As a shuttle driver, you transport authorised persons between the event locations. A valid driving licence and good driving skills in winter road conditions are required.

Security & Access Control

You help monitor access points and event areas and assist visitors in finding their way.
As a chaperone, you accompany athletes as part of the doping control process. Discretion and the responsible handling of confidential information are particularly important.

FAQ for Ski World Cup Volunteers

What requirements do I need to meet?
You must be at least 16 years old. For assignments on the course, you also need to be a very good skier. English skills are an advantage in all areas.
Does submitting an application automatically mean I am accepted?
No. We review all applications and will contact you as soon as we know whether you will be part of the volunteer team.
When will I receive a response?
We will get back to you as soon as possible. At the moment, we cannot provide a definite date.
When and where will I be working?
For the Race & Course area, assignments are planned from Thursday, 25 February to Sunday, 28 February 2027. In the other areas, most assignments will take place during the race weekend on 27 and 28 February. The short descriptions above provide an initial overview of the different tasks. We will let you know your specific assignment in good time.
Is accommodation provided?
We are trying to organise accommodation in Saalbach Hinterglemm for volunteers. If you need accommodation, please let us know. We will take your requirements into account during the planning process and inform you whether we are able to provide accommodation.
Will food and drinks be provided during my assignment?
Yes. On the days you are working, you will receive one meal as well as drinks and snacks.
What equipment will I receive as a volunteer?
We do not provide equipment for your assignment. Please bring suitable clothing and any equipment you may need yourself. As a thank-you, you will receive a volunteer goodie from us.
