Early start on the mountain

Get up early and head straight for the slopes: that’s the motto for spring skiing during MAGIC MARCH. As part of the early start, selected lifts begin operating from 08:00. Especially in March and April, one thing is clear: the earlier you get up the mountain, the more you get out of your day!

Guaranteed top slopes

Even when the days are already sunny and pleasantly warm, frosty nights ensure TOP SLOPE CONDITIONS every morning. And there’s another bonus: plenty of space on the wide-open pistes. How often do you get to feel like you have almost the entire ski area to yourself? During MAGIC MARCH.

Saalbach Hinterglemm has another ace up its sleeve when it comes to the TOP SLOPE GUARANTEE: the east-west orientation of the Glemmtal valley. This means there is a sunny side and a shaded side. If the slopes on the sunny side soften during the day, simply switch to the shaded side and keep enjoying firm, grippy and often surprisingly quiet pistes.
 

Tip for ski beginners
March is a real insider tip for anyone still at the beginning of their skiing journey. With plenty of space on the slopes, there’s lots of room for wide, relaxed turns. Spend a few hours skiing in the morning, then take it easy and enjoy the sunshine on a mountain hut terrace. And for a safe and comfortable journey back down to the valley, all gondola lifts can also be used for the descent.
