During the summer months, the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn again invests to ensure even more comfort for all winter sport fans.

MAISKOPF: FOCUS ON CAPACITY & COMFORT

The old Maiskopf T-bar lift will be replaced by a 6-seater chairlift in time for the 2025/26 winter season. This means that waiting times on the way back down to the valley will be a thing of the past and the flow on the ski circuits will increase significantly. An additional bonus: the elimination of the snow-covered T-bar lift track will reduce the amount of snowmaking at Maiskopf, thus increasing snow reliability.

 

What makes this project special is that key components from the former Sassgalun lift in Ischgl are being reused in the construction. The drive system, supports, and chairs are being recycled and combined with new elements such as cables, controls, and modern station buildings. This makes the construction not only efficient but also resource-friendly—a statement in terms of sustainability!
