Equipment check
With each trip into the powder, you have to carry the complete safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel and mobile phone) with you. Missing equipment items can be hired or bought in one of the local sports shops.
The basic equipment of a freerider includes:
- avalanche transceiver
- shovel
- probe
- emergency mobile phone
- airbag system is recommended
Important: Apart from the safety equipment, a helmet is of course also part of the basic equipment.
