SH 76 Huber Hochalm Tour

Beautiful uphill loop on the western slopes of the Schattberg.

From the starting point in Hinterglemm, you ride briefly into the valley and turn - past the valley station of the Zwölferkogel cable car - into the Schwarzachergraben. After just under 3 km you leave the valley floor and head uphill, first through the forest, later across the alpine pastures of the Stiegeralm. After not quite 8 km you reach the Hacklbergeralm, and from here you could also join the Hacklberg trail and ride back down to the valley on single trails. You also have the option of crossing the Klingler Törl into the neighbouring Oberpinzgau. Our loop now continues flat or slightly downhill through the Stiegergraben, before a second short ascent on a cart track that is not easy to ride. At the Huber Hochalm you meet a forest road again, which quickly leads down into the valley. On the way down, you can make a detour and stop for a bite to eat at the Huberalm before rolling through the ditch out to Hinterglemm.
