PINZGA HATSCHA Stage 12 (valley head round Saalbach Hinterglemm)
The 12th stage of the PINZGA HATSCHA leads you around the picturesque valley head of the Glemmtal. Please pay attention to the PINZGA HATSCHA stickers on the signposts.
This beautiful route starts at the valley head in Lengau. It goes comfortably along a forest road to the Lindlingalm and then continues towards the Ossmannalm, which you reach after about an hour. Across beautiful alpine pasture terrain, follow the well-marked path up to the Saaljoch, which marks the border between Tirol and Salzburg. Now it gets steeper (some surefootedness required) on the Tristkogel.
At the summit, you will be rewarded with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountain world of Tirol and Salzburg! The descent now leads westward (short sections are secured with wire ropes) and you follow a path across the open high plateau to the beautifully located Torsee. The further descent continues over the plateau down to the tree line, from where a steep but easy path leads back to the Lindlingalm. Those with enough energy can enjoy the high ropes course or explore the tree top path before returning to Lengau.
Alternatively, from Torsee, the route Gamshag - Teufelssprung - Mittagskogel - Schusterscharte can also be chosen.
