PINZGA HATSCHA Stage 12 (End of the Valley Loop)

The 12th stage of the PINZGA HATSCHA takes you around the picturesque head of the Glemmtal valley. Please note the PINZGA HATSCHA stickers on the signposts.

This beautiful loop starts at the end of the valley in Lengau. The trail leads leisurely along a forest path to the Lindlingalm and continues towards the Ossmannalm, which you reach after about an hour. Follow the well-marked trail across beautiful alpine pastures to the Saaljoch, which is the border between Tyrol and Salzburg. Now the trail becomes steeper (a little sure-footedness is required) up to the Tristkogel.

At the summit you are rewarded with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains of Tyrol and Salzburg! Now descend in a westerly direction (short sections are secured with wire ropes) and follow a path across the open plateau to the beautifully situated Torsee lake. The descent continues across the high plateau down to the timberline, from where a steep but easy trail leads back to the Lindlingalm. Those who still have enough energy can have fun in the high ropes course or explore the Baumzipfelweg before returning to Lengau.
