Panorama route 3 peaks and 2 lakes

This scenic circular route from the Schattberg West summit offers 3 peaks and 2 lakes and is also suitable for families. Sure-footedness and moderate fitness are required.

Ascent with the West summit cable car (free for JOKER CARD holders) to the Schattberg West summit. From there, start heading south, first downhill, then along the path slightly to moderately ascending to the first peak, the Stemmerkogel. A somewhat rocky descent to the southwest. Continue straight at Wegscheid until the second peak - the Saalbachkogel - is reached. From there, descend towards Seetörl (partly over scree). Leave the two Hacklberger Lakes on the left - maybe after a short break - and continue towards Hacklberger Alm. Return via the path that begins behind the Alm back to the third peak, the West summit of the Schattberg. Descent with the West summit cable car.
