Scenic hike for the whole family

Ascent with the Reiterkogel cable car. From the mountain station, you reach the Reiterkogel summit in just over an hour's climb via Route 5. Passing the so-called Wetterkreuz (wayside shrine), you hike past the Reiteralm, Sonnalm, and descend along the Unterreitweg to the Glemmtaler Landesstraße. From there, you return along Promenade 3 back to the Reiterkogel cable car (walking time approx. 20 minutes), and there is also a post bus connection back.
