Most of the route runs along well-marked gravel cycling paths of various widths – from narrow trails to wide forest roads. But paved sections also invite high speeds. A variety of refreshment options ensure physical well-being because this extremely challenging route with over 130 kilometers and over 1,700 meters of elevation gain needs to be carefully paced. Too high a speed and empty energy reserves could cloud the impressions on this route in the style of a venerable Gran Fondo.
