Dusty Ride

This casual route leads along picturesque bike paths with a final challenging gravel uphill to the Spielberghaus before returning back to the center of Saalbach!

Directly after starting in the center of Saalbach, you head onto the promenade and follow the official signs downhill and enjoy a great bike path mostly on gravel surface to Maishofen. You follow the official bike path to Neunbrunnen and then cross the federal road at the underpass/Lahntal. Shortly after the horse paddock, you turn left into a technical gravel section in the forest. Afterwards, you return to an official bike path toward Saalfelden and follow the signs to Leogang and then to Hochfilzen. In the district of Oberwarming, you turn sharply left onto the “Tennweg”. At Mühlgasse in the district of Feistenau, you orient yourself south again. Shortly after, you pass the guesthouse “Eiserne Hand” before a rather difficult uphill awaits. After the ascent, the forest road winds flat toward the Spielberghaus where a welcome rest is reached. From the Spielberghaus, it is about a 10-minute downhill back to the center of Saalbach.
