DUSTY SOCKS Gravel Ride

Dusty socks guaranteed: relaxed route from/to Saalbach, mostly on gravel roads.

Start & finish at the village square in Saalbach. Down towards the valley on the Glemmtal bike path (tip: let yourself roll a lot, there are still plenty of elevation meters to come!), then on to Saalfelden and towards Leogang. In the industrial area Hirnreit starts the Vogelsangweg, which leads to the Saalfelden Biberg. After a detour to the lookout tower, continue with great views of the Steinerne Meer, Lake Zell and the Schwalbenwand to the Örgenbauernalm and further around the Sausteigen on the ridgeway via Jahnhütte, Schönleiten and the Spielberghaus back to Saalbach. There are several managed huts along the route.
